Matt is a qualified Advanced Level Executive Coach, Mentor, and Facilitator with over 30 years of experience in leadership and hospitality.
For Matt, hospitality has never been just a career — it’s been a lifelong passion built on people, purpose, and possibility. From his early beginnings as a Silver Service Waiter to leading large-scale operations as a Director of Commercial Services, every step of his journey has deepened his belief in what true leadership really means: serving others, bringing out their best, and creating environments where people can grow and thrive.

His leadership journey has spanned a variety of roles — General Manager, Regional Manager, Head of Operations, Service & Productivity Specialist, and more — giving him a deep and practical understanding of the unique challenges and rewards that come with leading in the hospitality world.

In 2012, Matt discovered the professional discipline of Coaching, and it transformed the way he thought about leadership. He realised that true leaders don’t need to have all the answers — they need to create the space for others to find their own. Since then, he has worked with frontline managers, senior leaders, and business owners, helping them unlock potential, strengthen confidence, and lead with clarity and authenticity.

Through his coaching practice and interactive workshops, Matt helps individuals and teams develop the mindset and skills to communicate more effectively, build trust, and create lasting impact.

His sessions blend deep listening with positive challenge, guiding people to see new perspectives and transform challenges into opportunities.
